On average
I've folded

I'm surprised!
I thought it'd be
higher.
On this day I was
participating in a
D&D session.
Silently folding many, many
rabbits while playing.

One day I want to go to a cozy and
quiet place, have a comfortable place
to sit with some ambient music and
just fold. Fold rabbits for hours upon
hours.
You know that lighthouse scene of

Serenity!
I was doing a
lot of new
activities this
month. While
enjoyable, I
think it was
also very draining.
But not to worry, a
few months later
that I picked up the
pace ^.^

At first this month was heavy,
my grandpa had passed away.
I am glad I and my family still
had the time to say goodbye in the days
of his passing.
I folded him a rabbit to , and folded
one in his memory that I'll always keep
for myself.
After that this same month, I
took time for myself, rested, did
fun things. Slowed my pace of life.

Oh wait, I did fold the

When people get curious enough, they sometimes want
to join in and we create all kinds of origami together!
It's fun to see people wanting to attempt making a
rabbit they usually underestimate it's difficulty. Most
persist and succeed! (People have the most trouble
with the legs...) They take about 30-40 minutes for
their first rabbit.
I've taught many people how to fold rabbits, and some
taught me how to fold other things like a beetle, dog
and strange frogs.

Folding Together
The largest rabbit I've
ever folded. Standing
at ~55cm tall.
I got a big piece of
125cm x 125cm paper
for my birthday.
folding her was actually
pretty difficult.
This little guy is just ~3cm.
Not to scale with him
I've actually made a much
smaller rabbit that required
using tweezers, but I lost
him :c

Secret Extra
I wanted to do something different
for rabbit #500, layering papers.
Though to want to ensure it
went well I did a test-run with
this rabbit.
He's the secret hidden
sibling of all the nr 100 rabbits.
#500
Due to testing first, #500
went exceptionally well I
think!
Made from very nice quality
paper that I got gifted that
came from a japanese store
He might be my favourite ^^

Rabbits are numbered
I always sign my rabbits
on the inside with their
number.
I started doing this late,
from about #86 onwards.
Tea Paper Rabbit
#105
I use all kinds of paper I
find around. This one is
made from a paper I got
with the tea at a
restaurant.

I fold rabbits anywhere, even while
hiking. This particular one has been hidden
in an airtight geocache

Accidents!
Folding is cozy
Paper rabbits don't do well in
moist environments. When
left outside they become
'puffed up'. Especially their
necks will 'unravel'.
It's a little sad, so I try to
not leave any outside.
The moisture
Ever since playing
'To the Moon' back in 2017,
I've wanted to fold a paper
rabbit.
Something about the game
meant a lot to me, though I
couldn't yet understand why.
I tried to fold one but it
was too difficult. I wanted
to persist, but...
.. life passed as it does.

"Just a little longer..."
"Well aren't you special? Having
two colours when all your siblings
look like they drowned in bleach.
What's that? You think you're
really creepy? Why yes, I agree!"
- Dr. Neil Watts
"What if you forget?"
2026
At some point, throughout all my
changing and growing, I learned
new shapes to give to thoughts
and feelings.
Revisiting Freebird's games,
suddenly I reconnected with
those feelings back in 2017.
About feeling distant even
though I was always there.
And seeing wonders, in
others, that I wish I
could share.
And then, I folded
my first Paper Rabbit ->
"The Pilgrim's guide to Origami"
Volume I - The Key to
Avoiding Papercuts
"Y'know, these things actually
look pretty hard to fold"
- Dr. Rosalene
"Geez, what's with all
these... rabbits?"
- Dr. Watts
So went my journey, at first
folding because I wanted to
learn, which grew into an
activity that gave me
comfort and serenity. I bring
paper with me anywhere I go.
Eventually I set out to make
at least 1000, and reached it
after 2.47 years.
And after all this time, I can
already tell...
I'll be folding
thousands more ^.^
"It's a rabbit, like all the
others you made"

"For the grand origami master,
it is absolutely essential for
each origami to be completed in
exactly 42 moves."

Restaurants and
Cafés I visit I often
leave rabbits there.
Next time I come
there I can still visit
my little paper friend
that now has a new
home!
Public transport is a very relaxing
place to fold. Leaving rabbits for
people to pickup.
It has become a common occurrence
that people show curiosity and I
chat with them, gifting them
rabbits. People always look so
delighted when they receive one ^^
Eaten
Not all rabbits survive (◡︵◡)
The world is a harsh place after all.
There are cute innocent dogs
roaming around that like to play
with them.. or eat them.
Many rabbits likely have disappeared
from the places I've left them.
They're brave to thread such
hostile environments!
But also homes of my
friends and family,
activities, at university,
the library, on vacation.
Anywhere I go!

I've given so many rabbits to so many people. It is
such a joy to see people be so delighted to have a
paper rabbit of their own.
I found a lost photo

them to be ~1cm

Most I keep myself, typically
have various places they sit,
or a few small piles.
They quickly get too numerous
and I don't have any space.
Then they go in the box.
I've got 286 in total here in
my home now. (I counted)

I actually still have many

that are still unsigned.
I collected all 34 I could
